Smith’s 1956 English Place‑Name Elements, together with Addenda and Corrigenda published in the Journal of the English Place‑Name Society 1 (1969), in a single volume. A simple marginal notation in the Elements text directs the reader to the addendum reprinted at the end of the volume.
The original pagination of the two volumes and the addenda and corrigenda is retained. Maps are contained in a pocket inside the back cover.
